Control Operations Begin
The Chelan County Mosquito Control District #3 Idlewild begins operations for the control of adult mosquitoes when surveillance mosquito population has been met and weather conditions are favorable but no sooner than June 3rd and no later than August 30, 2024. Duet HD (EPA Reg. #8329-105) will be used to control adult mosquitoes (adulticide) during the early morning hours. Treatment of mosquito larvae is done by individual property owners -for recommended procedures – see Types of Treatment tab.
